Day 6 (the other movies) and Day 7
I really felt like “Happiest Season” needed its own entry. Even though it was one of two holiday movies I watched on Saturday. Also, it was two of three movies in total. I have watched a lot movies since the Covid hit.

So, I was told I didn’t need to watch Bad Moms to understand Bad Moms Christmas and after viewing them both I would say that is true. However, I think these are made in an order for a reason. So of course, I watched Bad Moms on Saturday before Bad Moms Christmas. My hat goes off to all the Mom’s out there and all the stuff you do to make the world go around. I found myself repeatedly laughing out loud. It is definitely funny movie. So, happy I watched it, I love Mila and Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn has grown on me over the years. I recommend watching this, you just don’t have to do it during the holidays.

I got a little teary eyed during this one. I found it hilarious and a very touching at the same time. This like Holidate is a really fun Holiday movie and I am so happy I watched it. I don’t think this is the movie you gather the family around and sit down and watch on Christmas Eve with the family, but it is certainly a favorite going forward. I am not sure how this movie gets such shitty reviews. A 5.6 on IMDb and 44% on Rotten Tomatoes. I mean come on people. Do you have no sense of humor at all?
The holidays are turned upside down when the Mom’s of the Bad Moms decided to show up for Christmas. Basically, the moms of the moms go like this: Kunis and Baranski, Bell and Hines, Hahn and Sarandon. Baranski is a bitch. Hines is lonely and a little psycho because she misses her husband. Finally, Sarandon is a dead beat with a gambling problem. Each personality gives us our necessarily holiday drama needed to execute the Holiday Movie Formula. Obviously, we need the controversy. Without the controversy how do we have a final act where everyone makes up and has a wonderful Christmas.
I really liked this movie and give it an 8.5 on the Holiday Cheer Meter. It made me laugh, it made tears stream down my face, and it made me happy. The biggest compliment I can give to a movie is it made me think about it the next day. I thought about this a bit on Sunday. It could be because Kunis and Bell are smoking hot, but honestly, I think I really just liked the movie. The waxing scenes and the Santa Claus freaking is priceless.
Christmas with a View

Spoilers: Do you care?
I phoned it in. I will admit it. I was tired, I wanted a movie I didn’t really have to pay attention too. I had been watching football all day and I wanted to go to bed. However, I also love to watch Holiday Movies leading up to Christmas day. So, the Day 7 movie I picked one I didn’t have any expectation for, and one I actually refused to watch last year because I had a feeling it was going to be awful. I found myself constantly looking over at Kona and telling her how terrible this movie was and how predictable it is. The only reason I even settled on this movie was Kaitlyn Leeb. She looked like she had talent. Ok, ok, she looked hot and she was cute. The highlight of the movie in my opinion was Clive. I didn’t even think that Clive was a real person, I thought it was Kaitlyn’s best friends made up boyfriend, but he did exist. He shows up late in the movie, and he is my hero for no other reason than he is there where they need him. I think the fact he was real, and he played a part was awesome. I found myself cheering each time he came onto the screen. Hey when the movie is bad you got to do what you got to do.
The Cheermeter is low on this one, I am thinking 3 out of 10. I was shocked that this had a 5.1 on IMDb when Bad Moms Christmas couldn’t break 6. Really people, what is wrong with you. Really. The movie was just to predictable. Which is saying a lot b/c Holiday Movies are normally predictable. Don’t watch this movie. Just don’t!
