I really thought I would hate it, but I didn’t.  I thought it looked stupid.  Girl sent to a remote island with an air force base.  Her job is to close it down.  The General of the base gets and inside tip that she is coming and what her mission is.  What does he do he assigns his most personable and energetic solider to change her mind!  What could possibly happen?  Could the magic of Christmas make her see this base is worth saving?

I have seen a few episodes of Vikings, but only in the first season, so I am not familiar with Alexander Ludwig from that.  I do remember him from the latest Witch Mountain movie, which I liked, but most people didn’t.  I hope in his TV show he doesn’t play the same lame ole goober her played in this movie.  I like him I guess, but he was a big ole cheese ball and I am like who the hell is this goofball.  If he is running around Vikings’ times like he is Operations Christmas Drop the Viking could be in trouble.

Kat Graham who I have no reference points on and is a newcomer to me. I really don’t think I have seen any of her films.  I think she did an ok job, other than her ridiculous dance sequence.  I mean it was over the top bad.  She is in Holiday Calendar, which is currently on the watch list, so I won’t be able to say that next time.  She is pretty cute and once she got over herself in the movie, she became a pretty swell person that you could get on board with and hope things turn out OK.

Apparently, Operation Dumbo Drop is real.  Ok, I knew that I would do that eventually.   I have wanted to all this movie Operation Dumbo Drop all day.  I haven’t even seen Operation Dumbo Drop.  Anyway, lets try this again.  Operation Christmas Drop is a real program and is run out of a real airbase.  The whole boy meets girl, girl meets boy.  Girl is treacherous and trying to shut down army base. I think is completely made up.  There is a real military operation in which the cargo planes drop off gifts and supplies to remote islands during the holidays.

The Cheer Meter was about a 5.7 out of 10.  I liked the movie.  I loved the scenery.  I am talking about the island views and the beautiful oceans.  Not Kat Graham, although she was pretty.  The emotional meter only really got up once. No tears.  So, it gets its rating more from the beautiful locations in the movie rather than the comedy, or the holiday magic.  I would still recommend it and I did early today.
